Chris Mahlmann

Chris is the founder, CEO, and publisher of the LIFE network and has developed the industry standard for connecting people with all that is positive in their community.

Chris grew up in the financial markets, spending time working with exchanges, brokerage firms, and ultimately running a market data, news, and software company for the global financial markets. He learned a lot about highly-efficient, highly-scalable communication networks. He utilized that technology background and communications skill set to build an extremely entrepreneurial communication, news, and information network using digital photography, HD video, blogs, web display, e-mail marketing, and social network tools to connect people, places, events, and organizations in one all-positive exchange.

Chris was awarded the 2011 Small Business Journalist of the Year from the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center e-day awards for excellence, and in 2013 was inducted into the Northwest Indiana Society of Innovators.

He resides in Valparaiso with his wife Natalie, and has four children, Christopher, Nicole, Trevor, and Peyton.
