The photos captured at these gatherings were shared on your news feeds throughout the year, and each one tells a special story, a moment in time that you can now cherish forever.

Whether it was of you crossing the finish line at a race, of a neighbor you know getting nominated at an awards ceremony, or of your own child holding their diploma proudly at their graduation ceremony, there are so many photos worth sharing, and we thank you for providing us with so much good to photograph.

GIRLS BASKETBALL Sectional Championship Portage VS. Valparaiso 2023

After an exciting, tense game, Valpo won the Sectional Championship 47-33. Lillian Barnes had 24 points to lead the Vikings to a W. Check out all of our photos from the Girls Basketball Sectional Championship!

GIRLS GYMNASTICS IHSAA Sectional 2023

With the Vikings scoring 112.850 points to secure the win at Sectionals, second place went to the Crown Point Bulldogs with 110.225 points, and third to Lake Central with 108.7 points. Portage was not far behind at 108.575 points.

Additional champions included Ella Dollahan from Knox High School (Vault), Gabi Grisafi from Valparaiso (Uneven Parallel Bars, Balance Beam, All Around), and Hayleigh Delgado from Lake Central (Floor Exercise).

Crown Point vs. Portage Boys IHSAA Sectional Basketball 2023

The Crown Point Bulldogs advanced through the first round of the IHSAA Boys’ Basketball Sectional Tournament on Tuesday evening, defeating the Portage Indians 54-45. The teams were evenly matched throughout much of the night, often seperated by less than a field goal until the Bulldogs broke through in the fourth quarter. AJ Lux led Crown Point in scoring, posting 21 points. Jack Svetich also hit a double digit point total, scoring 13.

Portage finished their season with a 14-9 record. O’Mari Evans led the team in scoring on the evening, with 15 total points.

BOYS FOOTBALL Portage VS. Munster 2023

The Portage Indians hosted the Munster Mustangs for a football scrimmage match before the start to the season to get the Region pumped for fall. We've got everything you need to relive the game!

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD PORTAGE REGIONAL 2023

Portage High School hosted a Girls Regional track meet with a total of 33 teams competing tonight. After the dust settled, the top 5 were pretty clear.

BOYS SOCCER Portage VS. Michigan City 2023

The Portage Indians hosted the Michigan City Wolves. #2 Malachi Chavez lead the Indians with 4 goals. The final score of the match was 9-0 the Portage Indians won.

PORTAGE HIGH SCHOOL PROM 2023

Portage held its 2023 prom at the Porter County Expo Center. Juniors Anna Koutelas and Mark Calmbacher were named Princess and Prince, while Seniors Lexi Cline and Jaylin Blair were named Queen and King.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER 2022

Santa’s elves were surely at work tonight during Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana’s fifth annual A Christmas to Remember event. Through this event, the holiday wish lists of 500 children in the Region are being fulfilled thanks to the efforts of the 10 Clubs and their volunteers.
