2013-chevy-spark-evWho doesn’t like to save? If you said you don’t, then this isn’t the post for you! Chevrolet has offered their customers an amazing deal with the creation of the 2014 Spark EV. It’s been proven that this all-electric mini car can save its owners about $9,000 in gasoline over the span of five years—the equivalent of $150 a month.

Don’t think you need that extra cash? Think again. Here are some awesome things you can get with that extra $9,000 hanging out in your pocket:

  • About 5 roundtrip tickets to England
  • 6,425 Starbucks Tall Coffees
  • 9,000 Snickers bars
  • A used car
  • Two seats at a four championship round baseball games
  • 900 music albums
  • 9,000 servings of Ramen Noodles

Not enough incentive to check out the Spark EV? How about the fact that it boasts the most efficient MPGes in its class at 119 and a driving range of 82 miles per charge? The Spark EV will keep you from using about 2,480 gallons of gasoline, which is enough gasoline to fill a small tanker truck. Not to mention the fact that it starts at about $25,000 with tax incentives.

“Spark EV is one of the most affordable EVs on the market, with one of the lowest costs of ownership of any new vehicle out there,” said Cristi Landy, director of Chevrolet small car and electrified vehicle marketing. “Spark EV is a great city car that rewards frequent use by being fun, efficient and affordable.”

The Spark EV is available this summer in California and Oregon.
