Portage Youth Basketball Sign Ups Start This Month

As summer starts to wind down colder days will soon be upon us and athletics will move indoors. Portage Youth Basketball signups are right around the corner. Dates and times are as follows.

Monday August 20 6-8pm at Portage Public Library
Saturday August 25 9:30am-Noon at Portage Public Library
Monday August 27 6-8pm at Portage Public Library
Saturday September 8 9:30am-Noon Portage Public Library

Separate boys and girls divisions are available for first grade through sixth grade. The rookie division includes boys and girls in preschool and kindergarten. PYB is open to players of all skill levels from Northwest Indiana. Players will participate in ten regular season games, a league tournament and a pizza party. Practices begin in October, while games last from November to February. All games are played on either Saturdays or Sundays. An awards banquet will be held at the end of the season for all players.

The cost is $90 (plus a $5 concession fee) per player with additional immediate family members added for half price. For more information email portageyouthbasketball@comcast.net!
