Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson Proclaims April Autism Awareness Month

Flanked by students and parents from the Thea Bowman Leadership Academy, today, Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson proclaimed April Autism Awareness Month in Gary, IND. The students are members of the organization Autism Speaks, and they work on volunteer projects and events that help boost awareness of Autism.
