Celebrate Mardi Gras and Support Rebuilding Portage

Rebuilding Together Portage invites you to the 1st Annual Mardi Gras Unmasked Gala, on Saturday, March 19, 2011.

The Mardi Gras Unmasked Gala benefiting Rebuilding Together Portage will be a great night of dinner, dancing, entertainment, auctions and a wine and beer tasting.  Rebuilding Together Portage has been serving the needs of senior citizens, disabled individuals, and military veterans in Portage Township since 1998, by providing much needed repairs to their homes. Each year, over 300 volunteers offer their time and skills to help make the homes of these individuals and families warmer and safer by providing roof repair, electrical, plumbing, heating & cooling repairs, painting, flooring, yard work, etc. Over 150 homeowners have benefitted from our efforts during our first 12 years.  The Mardi Gras Unmasked Gala will be a great opportunity to raise the money needed for these repairs, while enjoying a great night out!

The gala will feature dinner, dancing, wine and beer tasting, hors d'oeuvres, live and silent auctions. Tom Lounges, of Indiana 105 and XRock. Entertainment will be provided by Charlie Blum and the Star Orchestra.

Tickets are $55 per person, $100 per couple, or $400 per table of 8. The cocktail hour begins at 5:00 pm, which includes a cash bar and complimentary hors d'oeuvres. A wine and beer tasting will also be served, for $10 per person. Dinner will begin at 6:30 pm with dancing and auctions to follow.

• Music memorabilia from many artists including Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Gary Allen, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Phil Vassar, Josh Turner, The Eagles, The Grateful Dead, Van Halen, Frank Sinatra, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Reba McIntire, Justin Bieber, The Jonas Brothers and Eric Clapton.
