The Best Festival of Summer is less than a Month Away

Pierogi Fest, that wacky, nutty festival, organized by hundreds of volunteers is less than a month away, and will be held Friday July 28^th (11AM to 11PM), Saturday July 29^th (11AM to 11PM) and Sunday July 30^th (11AM to 5PM) in Downtown Whiting, Indiana.

The festival offers more than 75 food booths with over 1,200 menu items, 2 beer gardens, 55 arts and crafts and tchotchke vendors, 7 performance stages featuring a wide variety of music, and the craziest polka parade ANYWHERE (parade is Friday, July 28^th at 7 PM).

A free concert featuring Smash Mouth, sponsored by Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana will take place on the main stage Saturday, July 29^th at 8:30PM. With hits like: All Star, Walkin’ on the Sun, I’m a Believer, Why Can’t We Be Friends, and Can’t Get Enough of You Baby (and the soundtracks to the Shrek movies) this should be a great evening, but then every evening is great at Pierogi Fest.
