XFINITY DEBUTS ULTIMATE VIEWING EXPERIENCE FOR MARCH HOOPS

Over the course of three weeks, 134 college basketball games will air live as part of the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments. To help customers manage the madness, Comcast is bringing all live and on demand coverage from both tournaments into one seamless experience and rolling out several new features designed to make following, navigating and watching all the action easier than ever.

“There is no better place to experience all the excitement of March basketball than X1,” said John Dixon, Senior Vice President, Entertainment, Comcast Cable. “X1 has always been the best place to watch live sports, and with new features that make navigating this year’s tournament quick and easy, plus seamless access to every live game regardless of where its airing, we’re bringing customers even more ways to maximize their viewing experience.”

Customers who want to stay connected while on the go can launch the Xfinity Stream app to access all live coverage of the tournament in a similar, seamless viewing experience.

Comcast’s streaming platforms, Xfinity Flex and Xumo TV, will also feature a comprehensive tournament hub to help streamers find the best way to watch. Within this experience, customers will be able to view a tournament bracket, find free streaming channels and tournament news and highlights, and easily upgrade to a host of streaming services offering live coverage of all or a portion of this year’s tournaments, including Xfinity TV, Paramount+, ESPN+, Sling TV and YouTube TV.

To access the tournament destination on X1, Flex and Xumo TV, customers can simply say “March Madness” into their voice remote.
