Northwest Health – Porter Announces New Board Members

Valparaiso, IN – Ashley Dickinson, Chief Executive Officer for Northwest Health, recently welcomed two new members to the Northwest Health - Porter board of trustees: Drs. Douglas Mazurek and Michael Woods.

“Our Board of Trustees is a highly committed group of leaders who are dedicated to the delivery or quality healthcare,” said Dickinson. “Dr. Mazurek and Dr. Woods’ unique experience and areas of interest will be instrumental in guiding the hospital’s mission and vision.”

• Douglas Mazurek, M.D., is a pulmonary and critical care specialist with Northwest Medical Group and is a member of the medical staff at Northwest Health – Porter. Dr. Mazurek has served as president elect, president and past president of the medical staff. He is currently the chair of the hospital quality improvement committee.
• Michael Woods, M.D., FACEP, is an emergency medicine physician and a member of the medical staff at Northwest Health – Porter. He has served as the emergency department chairperson, as well as president elect, president and past president of the medical staff. Dr. Woods is also the medical director for the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center at Northwest Health – Porter.
