Portage Softball Team Has Mixed Results vs Michigan City

VARSITY SOFTBALL:
The Varsity Softball team lost to Michigan City 14-8 last night making their record 11-6 (7-4 DAC). Kristen Ashby had 3 hits; Natalie Korpak had 2 hits; Dani Lynch, Kylie Someson, Dani Bryan and Hayley Hodges all had 1 hit for Portage.

JV SOFTBALL:
The JV Softball team pounded out 18 hits to defeat Michigan City 16-2 last night making their record 10-4 (7-4 DAC).

Brittany Adams improves to 6-0 giving up only 2 hits
Randi Marshall 4-4 with 2 stolen bases and 4 runs scored
Lauren Murray 2-3 with 5 RBI’s, a double, and 2 stolen bases
