2017 Porter County Fair Set to Bring 10 Days of Good Old-Fashioned Fun!
Ever year, the county fair is one of the best ways to celebrate summer and take part in a tradition of country fun. This year, the Porter County Fair is no exception and provides 10 days of "Good Old Fashioned Fun" to create lasting summer memories with friends and family while playing games, eating delicious fair food, and catching some amazing entertainment.
Between July 20th and July 29th, you can do all of these things and more at the Porter County Fair!
General admission tickets are required for grandstand events.
Adults—$7.00 per person
Children under 10—Free
FREE before 12:00pm every day of the fair!
10 punch Value pass for $40.00
Consider a Buddy Pass—five one-day passes for only $25.00—for discounted gate admission (available online only).
Special Needs Day—Monday, July 24, 2017 1pm-6pm
Porter County Fair invites any individual with special needs and a chaperone to ride select rides for free.
Senior Citizen and Veteran’s Appreciation Day—Wednesday, July 26, 2017
This season you can expect all your favorites, including the classic fair food that lines the midway every year. A trip to the county fair wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a corn dog or that funnel cake you’ve been craving. You can find all the usual treats along the midway this year, so grab a bag of cotton candy to share and head over to one of the many events they have lined up.
Plus, this year's Grandstand Entertainment features some major acts, including Old Dominion, Toby Keith with Special Guests Walker Country, Matt Maher , Tenth Avenue North, and Jordan Feliz, to go along with the demolition derby, A-Bar Bull Riding, K & F Mud Drags, a tractor pull, a horse pull and plenty more.
Throughout the Fair, entertainment can also be found at the Family Entertainment & Education Areas, Park Place Pavilion, or the Roaming Grounds. Each venue will have various acts available for crowds to enjoy.

Afternoon (riding from 1-6) wristband for $18. Family and Kids Days are Monday, July 24 through Friday July 28, and the price is $15 (during the hours of 1pm to 6pm)
Individual tickets are 1 for $1.25, 22 for $25, and 55 for $60. Rides cost 2-4 tickets.
Between bits of entertainment, carnival games and rides will also be available for visitors to enjoy. As always, you can expect a good variety of games to try your hand at, some involving luck and others skill, and for the more adventurous, rides are plentiful. Wristbands are available every day!
So whether you come for the food, the animals, the exhibits, or the entertainment, the Porter County fair has something for you!
