Kids Summer Park Program Returning to Hawthorne Park

The popular Kids Summer Park Program at Hawthorne Park, will be starting soon. The program will run for four separate weeks this year with sessions going June 5th-9th, June 19th-23rd, June 26th-30th, and July 17th-21st. The four themed weeks include Super Hero Week, Animals Week, Nature/Environment Week, and Movie Magic Week.

The program will begin at 9:00am each weekday, and end at 1:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch (nothing that needs preparation) to enjoy at lunchtime.

This program, supervised by a Summer Park Program Director and two adult assistants, is filled with activities, games, crafts, surprises, and walking field trips. The program is free to children ages 6-11 (must have completed kindergarten), however, pre-registration is required to attend.
