The Chesterton
High School Trojans took home the title at the Duneland Athletic Conference Swimming
Championship at Valparaiso High School today.
Chesterton’s Maisyn Klimczak broke records for the 200 yard freestyle and the 500-yard
freestyle while the remaining Trojans
broke the record for the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Chesterton took first place with 514 points, Crown Point took second with 378
points, Lake Central was in third with 353 points, Valparaiso 4th with 297
points, Michigan City had 198 points, La Porte 183 points, Merrillville
84 points, and Portage 81 points. Congratulations to the Trojans!
