BOYS BASKETBALL Hobart VS Portage 2021

On Wednesday night, the Hobart Brickies boys basketball team faced off against the Portage Indians on home turf. The Indians were ahead at the half with score of 16-9, ultimately finishing the game in the lead with a score of 36-24. Head coach of the Indians, Rick Snodgrass, expressed his thoughts on the team’s success.

“I think that our kids did a good job reacting to Hobart’s runs,” Snodgrass said. “Basketball is a game at runs. It was a low scoring game, and we handled the runs and extended the lead. That’s what we have to do, we have to win close games.”

The Brickies (2-5) will next face off against Hammond Morton (4-10) on January 29. The Indians (4-10) will next play Michigan City (9-2) on January 29 at 7 pm.
