The Porter County Fair is just around the corner and the fair and Portage Mayor's Senior Advisory Committee is hosting a special day for senior! Anyone age 62 and older will be admitted to the fair free on Wednesday, July 26. Beginning at 9 a.m., we will have vendors from various organizations involving seniors available to ask questions and provide information. Groups from the Bonner Senior and Community Center, including the Choraleers, Line Dancers and Ballroom Dancers take the stage for entertainment. At 11 a.m., we honor our special seniors who go above and beyond to serve their communities. Then at Noon, it's Bingo Time! Sponsors are donating a variety of gifts, from baskets to gift cards! All of this is provided to the seniors of Porter County at no cost, so come out to the fair on July 26 and have a wonderful time. The fairgrounds is located at 215 E. Division Road, Valparaiso.
