"Girl Powered" Event Coming to Portage!

Sponsored by Portage Robotics and open to any girl grades 4 through 12, this exciting event will feature 15 highly successful, career women from various STEM fields from across the Region. They will network, share experiences, conduct problem-solving activities, have a panel discussion, and enjoy good food with the young participants.

This great opportunity will allow the young girl attendees to identify with highly successful, women role models, see themselves in the future, and be ultimately inspired and empowered to follow their STEM dreams. The experience and relationships developed will impact participants for years to come. In addition, attendees will receive a "Goody Bag" and drive Robots for fun.

This fun and rewarding event is Saturday, October 19, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Portage High School West's new Learning Center, entrance G.
