Event Information
The City of Portage's Memorial Day service, hosted by American Legion Post 260, will be held at Noon, Monday, May 31 at Founders Square. The service will include the Pledge of Allegiance, singing of the National Anthem, speakers and a 21-gun salute.
Founders Square, 6300 S. Founders Square, is located just north of Central Avenue and west of Hamstrom Road.
Hot dogs, chips and water will be served by the American Legion following the ceremony for a free will offering.
Members of the Portage Exchange Club will also participate, handing out flags and information on flag etiquette.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Masks and social distancing will also be encouraged.
