"It's Not Unusual" (as Tom Jones' song goes) to find great music entertainment in Portage, Indiana! Especially when celebrity impersonator John Truncali performs his high-energy "Tom Jones Tribute Show," on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Woodland Park!  This fantastic concert is all part of this year's 2019 Portage Summer Music Series of "FREE" concerts held indoors in Woodland Park's Oakwood Grand Hall, continuing every Tuesday through August. Woodland Park is located just south of US 20 in Portage, at 2100 Willowcreek Road (from US 20 & 249, 1/4 mile east to light, 1/4 mile south to park entrance). Seating is provided and the show is open to the public.

Appearing at events and festivals in Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, and throughout the USA (including top Chicago area venues like the United Center and Allstate Arena), multi-talented John Truncali not only sounds like legend Tom Jones, he's a look-a-like as well, wowing audiences-- and not just the ladies-- with his own great renditions of the hit songs of the Welsh singing icon.  John's impressive vocal impression repertoire  (mixed with comedy) also includes other greats like Elvis, Humperdinck, Diamond, Rat Pack,  Joe Cocker and many  others.  John's also shared the stage with such rock and roll singing stars as Frankie Valli, The Beach Boys, Dennis DeYoung, Joey Dee, Bobby Rydell and more and his other career accomplishments include being a lead vocalist, band leader, arranger,  guitarist, radio studio announcer and personality, commercial voice-over jingle artist, and actor in Chicago. What's more, he's released six CD's to date.  You don't want to  miss John Truncali as Tom Jones on stage!

Concessions and a cash bar add to the concert fun-- and young and old, family and friends can also enjoy dancing to the music during the concert!     Mark your calendars for upcoming 2019 Portage Summer Music Series of FREE indoor concerts at Woodland Park, June through August, music ranging from 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s rock n' roll, swing, jazz, blues,  country, to contemporary, and much more--Tuesday evenings, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All concerts will be held indoors, in Oakwood Grand Hall:
