Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Camp-Resorts in Portage, Indiana will be hiring for the summer 2016 season. We are accepting applications for the following positions from now until the positions are filled. Positions will begin as early as April 2014. Some positions begin later, most positions last until Labor Day, but could continue into late September, and October.
We are looking for energetic staff members to add to our Yogi Bear family, if you have experience in maintenance, recreation, customer service, life-guarding, comfort station cleaning, grounds-keeping, retail, rental booth or food service we may have a position for you. Previous campground or summer camp experience is a plus but not required. Some positions also require a valid driver’s license. Background checks are performed for new staff and we do conduct random drug testing throughout the season. If you are a minor a work permit will also be needed.
Salary and hours will vary, depending on position, department need and experience. We may also have supervisory positions open as well.
We provide uniform shirts, and name badges. You are allowed to use the facilities when you are not working.
