The Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of LaPorte County invites the community to join us on Thursday, November 6 from 8:00 to 9:00 AM CST in the NIEF building in Michigan City for the unveiling of our new philanthropic initiative. Join us for a brief presentation about our new initiative and our plans for future impact. A light breakfast will be served.
The Women’s Leadership Council advocates for and empowers women and girls in our community by combining philanthropy and public service. By making annual donations and investing in community impact, the WLC creates opportunities for a better life for all in LaPorte County.
Membership in the WLC is open to women who contribute $1,000 annually to the United Way of LaPorte County (individually or jointly) and designate their gift to the Women’s Leadership Council. Women 30-35 years old may join by making annual contributions of $500 or more.
