What is Good, Portage?

As always, we are looking for what is good going on in Portage! This time, we sent out a post on a Thursday night, asking folks to send us something, maybe a sentence or two of good news from anyone who commented on that post. It could be personal, professional, family, community, charity, spiritual, funny, or anything else you want to share. If you want to plug something or someone good - here is your free and easy opportunity.

If you want to get in on "what's good", send us an email at contribute@portagelife.com or leave a comment on this post!

We are having a benefit garage sale for Jacob Tyler Chaplinski, a high school junior who was killed in Jan. in a car accident. The benefit sale is to start a scholarship fund in memory of Jake. The sale is going to be Wed. Thurs. Fri. and Sat. May 5, 6, 7, and 8th. from 8-4 at 6861 Trailside Ave. in Portage (off Samuelson Rd. by the trails). Anyone interested in donating items can call Rhonda Nelson at 762-3707. We will pickup if needed. Thanks everyone. Together we can make some sense out of something senseless and make a difference in a young adults life!
