Best Buddies Pet Pantry is hosting a New Volunteer Meet-Up on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 7pm at Westchester Public Library, 200 W. Indiana Chesterton. Join volunteers for a casual meet-up to learn more about the pantry and how you can help the community. Light refreshments will be served. (meeting room upstairs)
Pet Food Distribution Day is Tuesday April 10 9-11am at Duneland Community Center, 801 Broadway, Chesterton. Free pet food for those that qualify: must be 21 years old, a resident of Porter County, provide a valid IN Drivers License/State ID and proof of need.
Pet food donations needed, all must be new/not expired: any dog & cat food, dog biscuits/treats, cat treats, re-sealable plastic bags (gallon, quart size), plastic shopping bags, gently used collars/leashes, pet food coupons. Donations can be dropped off at Valparaiso Animal Hospital, Southlane Veterinary Hospital, Coco's Canine Cabana, WOOF Luxury Unleashed.
