We're excited to announce that we are partnering with Strongbow for Lorie's Lakeside Century, September 13. Lorie’s Lakeside Century is in memory of Lorie Kirkley, who was a cardiac rehabilitation nurse at Porter and an avid cyclist. She died in 1999 after being abducted from her home. The race benefits the VNA of Porter County, which is a nonprofit organization that provides home health care and hospice care to those in the community in need.
Riders will be treated to a "taste of the region" with Strongbow's famous Turkey Pie with whipped potatoes, house-made cole slaw, cranberries, and gravy. And, this fabulous lunch is included in the price of the ride!
