The National Association of Drug Court Professionals’ All Rise America! On the Road for Recovery made a stop in Portage on May 20th.
The Porter County Veterans Treatment Court is one of only 25 stops All Rise America! will make along the 3,500 mile route from California to New York City. The Porter County Veterans Treatment Court was selected to host a special event because of its incredible work transforming the lives of Veterans within the criminal justice system. The event honored six Veterans who successfully completed an intensive program including comprehensive treatment, close supervision, and full accountability.
