ValpoLife Publisher Chris Mahlmann will join Chris Nolte on Lakeshore Public Radio's 'Regionally Speaking' on Thursday, May 20th to talk about ValpoLife.com, PortageLife.com, and a number of topics regarding Northwest Indiana.
Nolte produces The Lakeshore’s daily drive-time program “Lakeshore This Morning” – weekday mornings between 5:00 and 9:00 – and can be heard delivering hourly business reports during the show. In addition, he produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking with Chris Nolte,” a local public affairs program, weekdays from 11 a.m. to noon.
Nolte has more than three decades of radio experience, working at some of the top stations in the Midwest, including WIBC-AM in Indianapolis, Network Indiana and WLW-AM in Cincinnati. Before joining The Lakeshore, he was the morning host at WKBV-AM in Richmond, Indiana. Nolte’s public radio experience includes WFYI-FM in Indianapolis and WFIU-FM in Bloomington. He currently is serving his second term as president of the Indiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association (first term, 1987-88).
A native of Indianapolis and a graduate of Ball State University, Chris and his wife Sandy and daughter Lori will soon relocate to the Region.
