To accommodate the community’s increased volume for curbside recycling service during the holiday season, the City of Valparaiso City Services department has announced expanded service during the holiday season. “We’ve added two weeks of recycling services to encourage the community to recycle throughout the holiday season,” said Steve Poulos, Executive Director for Valparaiso City Services. The additional weeks will include the week following Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas, which would typically be trash-only collection weeks.
