SSAA-Room-for-InnovationFor the February Exhibit, step into “Room for Innovations”, something totally unique for the Southern Shore Art Association, and get inspired by 3-dimensional design! You will find an artistically provocative room filled with exciting work consisting of handcrafted furniture surrounded by sculptures of bronze, ceramic and wood. Any of these uniquely designed pieces of art would be the perfect accent for any home.

The featured artists are Gary Plunk with his extraordinary furniture designs, Linde Hansen-Lukas with her sculptural bronzes, Jon Hook with his wood fired, unique ceramics, and Larry Jensen, who not only turns wood, but turns wood into objects of art.

Join the artists on Friday, February 3, during the free Opening Reception at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery from 5 – 8 pm, during the monthly "First Friday" celebration in Michigan City’s historic Uptown Arts District. Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
