Tuley Excels by Doing Personal Best

Anthony-TuleyAnthony Tuley is a fifth-grader in Dave Lesich's class at Kyle Elementary School in Portage.

Anthony excels by always trying to do his personal best. Lesich said he has made great strides in his academic performance and behavior at school. He is respectful of both adults and other students at Kyle. He really is outstanding.

Anthony's favorite subject is math. He enjoys learning new things and likes to put into action what he has learned. At this point in time, Anthony wants to be a chef. He likes cooking for his family and enjoys everything about food.

But cooking isn't the only thing Anthony likes to do in his spare time. Anthony plays soccer for the Portage Parks Department and hopes to play on the Portage High School soccer team one day. Anthony also enjoys bowling and helping out at Portage Christian Church, which he attends. Anthony loves to hang out with his friends and play outside.

He looks up to his mom and dad because they help him get through bad stuff that happens and loves being helpful, taking care of his baby brother, Bryce. His mom, Cassie, said Anthony is a big help at home and is a good son and brother.
