Dr. Bewick, for those who are unaware, is a multi-talented talented dentist who has been practicing for over 30 years. He has been in his new location for about 9 months now, and he and his staff love their new digs.

2. Portage YMCA Celebrates 15th Annual Turkey Trot with Record Turn-Out

portage-turkey-trot-2015-1They came from all over. They came from Valpo, from Portage, from Hobart. They came from all over the region. Young and young-at-heart, experienced runners and first-timers. The crowd swelled to nearly 400 participants for the event. Some pre-registered online, others simply showed up on a drizzly, but unseasonably warm Thanksgiving morning to take part in the Portage YMCA 15th Annual Turkey Trot.

5. Portage YMCA Celebrates Healthy Kids Day 2015

Healthy Kids Day is a worldwide initiative by YMCA USA to try and get kids motivated to stay fit and healthy going into the summer months. While most locations, like Portage, were holding their day of celebration today, several other YMCA locations across the world will host Healthy Kids Day throughout the rest of April and May.
