Hashtags Make Keeping Up With Twitter Easier - written by Christopher Hedges

Twitter is a place where a wealth of information can be found, but keeping up with everything when millions of people are posting can be difficult. Despite the 140 character message length, a world of Twitter users routinely tweet about all sorts of things happening in their cities, towns and industries, in addition to everything else people care to share online.
