Just in time for Halloween parties and tailgating, a new adult beverage will be ripping its way into retail stores across Northwest Indiana. Distributed by Indiana Beverage for CANarchy, The Beast™ Unleashed makes its debut October 2.
The Beast is designed for those who are looking for a great-tasting, casual cocktail that doesn't have any sugar and is lower in calories than many mixed drinks.
“It is not a beer; it’s a flavored malt beverage that is distinguishable from other brands on the market,” said Matt Johnson, brand manager for Indiana Beverage. “There are three core big, bold flavors: Mean Green, White Haze, and Peach Perfect. Each 12-ounce serving contains 130 calories, zero sugar, and three to four grams of carbohydrates.”
Those familiar with the taste of the popular energy drink flavors may already have a hint as to what the grown-up version of the beverage will taste like, but any other similarity ends there. The drinks are made with malt alcohol and contain 6% alcohol by volume. Unlike the original version of the drink, The Beast does not contain any energizing ingredients.
“The Beast Unleashed is a great alternative for people looking for a lower-calorie and low-sugar alcoholic drink,” Johnson said. “Mean Green, White Haze, and Peach Perfect come in a 12-pack variety of 12-ounce cans along with 16-ounce single-serve cans. A fourth flavor, Scary Berries, is only available in the variety pack.”

Indiana Beverage will be distributing The Beast locally to all major retail stores throughout Northwest Indiana including Wise Guys Discount Liquor, Strack & Van Til, LiqGo, and Nick’s Liquor. The Beast will be available for purchase beginning October 2.
