The Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County has several events and workshops coming up.

NW Indiana Earth Day: April 17, 10 am to 3 pm at Sunset Hill Farm

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Tire Collection, and Appliance Collection: May 22, 9 am to 2 pm at the Porter County Expo Center
HHW: July 10, 9 am to 2 pm, at Westchester Intermediate School in Chesterton

The above workshops will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. There is a $10 fee for presentation costs. Preregistration and advance payment is required to receive workshop materials.
