The Importance of Water

Bottled-WaterHow any times did I have to hear this before I believed it? Do you believe it? If not, please HEAR THIS LOUD AND CLEAR! WATER, YES, WATER, is the single most important catalyst in losing weight AND keeping it off. When, then, do I take WATER for granted? Never again.

The kidneys can’t function properly without enough water. When they don’t work to capacity, some of their load is dumped onto the liver. Just like if you had to do somebody else’s work, you work would suffer. If the liver is not working at full throttle, it cannot perform its primary function which is to metabolize stored fat into usable energy for you. If the liver is metabolizing less fat, then more fat remains stored and weight loss is stifled.

Here are a few more reasons to drink plenty of water:

  • Water suppresses the appetite naturally.
  • Drinking water is the best treatment to avoid water retention.
  • Overweight people need more water than thin people due to larger metabolic loads.
  • Water helps shed the body of waste.
  • Water can relieve constipation.
  • Water helps lubricate for healthy joints.

Another note that I find interesting is that NATURAL LEMON works as a natural Diuretic. I love to squeeze a slice or two of lemon in my water. It tastes great.

So, drink at least 8-8oz glasses of water per day. It is good for your health and weight loss.

Bottoms up!!
