The community enjoys another successful event. 
On October 23 the YMCA held it’s annual Halloween Party. Approximately 80 families enjoyed spending time decorating pumpkins, playing games at the CarnEVIL and enjoying Halloween snacks. This was the first year that the YMCA held their outdoor Haunted Trail. Approximately 70 people were spooked on the trail. “Next year will be even bigger and better,” said Amber Morris, Halloween Party Coordinator. A big thank you goes out to the Portage ROTC! The ROTC sent 24 volunteers to work the party. T hey helped with everything from helping children paint pumpkins to dressing up as goblins and scary hunters for the haunted trail. “We couldn’t have done it without you!” thanked Morris.
