For those of you who haven’t experienced a Rebuild Day, we make sure our volunteers are fed 3 great meals throughout the day by local eateries and I would like to take the time to acknowledge their donations. We begin with a hearty breakfast provided by Schoop’s, Starbuck‘s and Family Express, followed by a sack lunch while on the job by Jimmy John’s and Our Lady of Sorrow parish. Lastly around 4 pm, everyone comes back to a hot meal provided by Town & Country Market, Cappo’s, Clancy’s Public House, Gelsosomo’s Pizza, Texas Corral, Rosewood Restaurants of Portage and South Haven, KFC, Applebee’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, J.J’s Pizza Shack, Gail Talley, Dennis Miles, Sherri Sosh and Beta Theta Gamma.
A big thanks to the Portage Park Department for the use of their facilities.
Last but not least, we would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers who work diligently to make this day a success. We would like to acknowledge all the Portage Kiwanis friends who got out of bed to be in the kitchen to help with breakfast!
