Test Your Knowledge to Save An Animal

I-Wanna-Go-Home-RescueI Wanna Go Home Rescue is hosting a trivia night April 14th, 2012 to raise funds for their organization.

The game will be played in teams of eight and the cost is $80 per team or $10 per person. If you do not have a team of eight, one will be provided for you.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and trivia will begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be prizes awarded to the winning teams.

People really do care and want to help the animals but a lot of the time life gets in the way. Trivia night is a fun way for friends and family to get together while still making a difference,” said President of the rescue, Susan Hanlon.

Trivia night is being held at Ridge United Methodist Church, located at 8607 Columbia Ave, Munster, Ind. Light beverages and snacks will be served.

The rescue is at Petco in Highland every Saturday and most Sunday’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will have animals up for adoption. For exact adoption day dates, visit www.iwannagohomerescue.org.

I Wanna Go Home Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving animals and educating the public on animal care. Prior to adoption, all animals are housed in foster homes where they are provided with care and medical attention to ensure good health.

The animals are all spayed or neutered, courtesy of Animal Medical Center in Sauk Village, Ill. and South Suburban Spay and Neuter Clinic in Glenwood, Ill. All animals are brought up-to-date on shots before being placed into adoption homes.
