Portage TOWNSHIP Parks Dept.’s 2nd Annual Team Up 2 Clean-Up event is scheduled on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 from 9am-noon. In celebration of Earth Day, volunteers will come together to beautify Haven Hollow and Field of Dreams Parks in South Haven, Indiana.
Volunteers are needed to pick up trash, sort recyclables, rake ditches, stain picnic shelters, prune and plant flowers. Volunteers will meet at 9am at Haven Hollow Park for job assignments. After work day is complete, volunteers are invited to stay for a luncheon cookout.
Donations are also needed, including; annual flowering plants, work gloves, garbage bags, mulch, and paint brushes.
