La Porte's favorite food festival is back for the third year in a row, according to City of La Porte Events Director Brett Binversie.
On Friday, July 7, from 6 to 10 p.m., the city will host its third annual Taco Fest at the corner of Lincolnway and Monroe. As in previous years, local vendors will face off and compete for the title of 'Best Taco.' The evening will also feature a beer garden, a pop-up artisan market, local food trucks, music and dancing. Binversie said the city anticipates another large showing of support this year.
"Taco Fest is one of our most popular downtown events, and we expect to see even more smiling faces at the festival this year," Binversie said. "This event is definitely a favorite among our residents and we are happy to see it grow more and more each year."
Binversie said this event is made possible by Arnett Construction and Roofing, as well as La Porte Events members. To learn more about upcoming events or to become a member, visit livinthelakelife.org.
