While most people infected with COVID-19 fully recover, a significant number continue to feel symptoms long after their initial recovery. Franciscan Health Dyer is offering a group to allow these “long haulers” to share their stories and provide support to each other.
Beginning June 15, the COVID-19 Long Hauler Support Group will meet from 2-3PM the first and third Tuesday of the month at Franciscan Health Dyer, 24 Joliet St., on the west side of the facility under the pavilion by the picnic tables.
Masks and social distancing are required, and no food or drinks are allowed. Space will be limited to 12 participants. To reserve your spot, call Melinda from the Palliative Care Department at (219) 922-7159.
