Children ages 2 years through fifth grade are encouraged to “Dream Big, Read” as part of this year's Summer Reading program offered at the Youth Services Department at all Porter County Public Libraries. New this year is online registration for independent reading. Register to read library materials for prizes beginning June 4 by logging on to our website, www.pcpls.lib.in.us. In addition, numerous exciting events are planned, so be sure to visit the PCPLS website or stop by the Youth Services Department at your local branch for more information.
Teens too can register online to read library materials to earn great prizes, as well as participate in special teen events as part of the “Own the Night” teen Summer Reading program. Call your PCPLS branch library or visit the website to find out more about the Summer Reading programs for children and teens.
