Franciscan Health Fitness Centers is hosting their Virtual Open House on Tuesday, March 16th. This fun day will be filled with opportunities to learn more about your health, and about how they are keeping their environment safe for your use. Participate in any of 4 activities for an entry into the prize raffle, which includes 4 monthly memberships, and over $1000 in prizes.
The public is invited to attend a Group Exercise class online or in person. Choose from 9:00am Feeling Fit, 10:30am Strength & Balance, 6:00pm Line Dancing. Preregistration for the Virtual Class is required and accessed at FranciscanHealthFitnessCenters.org/openhouse or call the Service Desk at the Club if you wish to participate in person. You can also register for the FEATURE EVENT: How to Safely Re-Ignite Your Health and Fitness During COVID-19 at FranciscanHealthFitnessCenters.org/openhouse. This live event, staffed by fitness professionals from all three clubs, will cover COVID specific data on how fitness clubs are trending, a VIRTUAL safety tour, the importance of accountability-based programs such as: Personal Training, Group Exercise Classes, and Nutrition/Health Coaching. A live Q & A with their Experts will also be offered. All attendees are eligible to win prizes and will receive a FREE VIRTUAL COOKING DEMO.
In addition to the classes and live event, all three Clubs will have a complimentary massage event at limited times.
Schererville is also hosting a Versiti Blood drive from 3pm-7pm on the Mobile Blood Bus. Testing for COVID-19 antibodies is included with all blood draws. Appointments are preferred, though walk-in's may be accepted based on the schedule. To schedule your appointment, go to www.versiti.org/IL or call 800.786.4483. Blood Draw Screenings will be offered by appointment at each Fitness Center. Knowing your numbers is the first step to improving your health. Our low-cost blood draw screenings will feature 7 screening options, results will be uploaded to MyChart, and mailed to your preferred address within one week of testing. Each screening is individually priced at $25 for Members and $30 for Non-Members.
Appointments are available from 6am-7am Chesterton, 7am-8am Schererville and 9:30am-10:30am in Chicago Heights at FranciscanHealthcare.formstack.com/forms/fhfc_blood_screenings.
Payment can be made in the form of cash, check or credit at the Service Desk prior to your appointment time. These Screenings are self-pay only. Please ensure a 10 hour fast prior to your appointment time. You may continue to take any prescription or over the counter medication prior to your screening with water.
