The South Shore Line announces it is hosting an upcoming job fair to help fill multiple open entry- and mid-level positions. The event will take place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at the Blue Chip Casino Hotel & Spa, Suncoast Room, 777 Blue Chip Dr., Michigan City, IN 46360.
Current open positions include lineman/signalman apprentice; building/facility maintenance; train dispatcher; track laborer/maintainer; on-board ticket collector; patrol officer; and terminal carmen/cleaner. SSL representatives from the following departments will be available to meet with prospective employees: Track, Line & Signal, Mechanical, Transportation, and Human Resources.
