South Haven, Union Township Little Leagues to Absorb Valparaiso Boundaries

As some things end, new beginnings and relationships form.

The Objective of Little League Baseball is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honestly, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so they may be well-adjusted, stronger and happier individuals and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.

Valparaiso Americans Baseball has chosen to end their affiliation with Little League International and Indiana District One, home to thirteen local Little League programs.

With the departure of the Valparaiso-based organization, Little League and District One have worked closely with neighboring Leagues to re-process the Valparaiso Americans boundaries. The Union Township and South Haven Little League programs have absorbed Valparaiso's former boundaries within their own, providing the option for Little League families in the former boundaries continued participation in a Little League Program. These programs are permanent going forward.
