This week Mr. Dan Massa visited South Haven Elementary 4th and 5th grader. He worked with the students to enhance cooperation and perseverance skills. Students were first asked to tell what their friends liked about them. If a student could not give an answer the rest of the class chimed in to point out outstanding qualities in the person. They were then put into 8 separate groups and asked to put together 8 Christmas Tree puzzles within a allotted time. When one group finished they were encouraged to help the other teams because the goal was to finish all eight puzzles before time ran out! The students were able to work together in a variety of roles and complete their mission!
