Software design company Allegro Dynamics LLC has become a tenant at the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette. The firm makes businesses more efficient by tailoring custom Web and mobile applications to business-specific needs.
The startup company, founded by Ben Brame and Zach Mason, is headquartered at the Herman and Heddy Kurz Purdue Technology Center. Brame is the firm's president; Mason is its director of technology. Charley Moore, who earned his MBA from Purdue's Krannert School of Management, is the company's director of business operations.
The firm focuses on developing applications that are equally practical and user-friendly.
"We believe the most productive tools are the ones that are fun to use. We focus as heavily on personalization and user experience as functionality," Brame said.
Allegro Dynamics' current clients operate in a variety of industries.
"Our private sector clients range from a music school to a pavement company. Our development capabilities allow us to serve a broad range of clients with virtually any type of software need," Moore said. "We currently have clients in Minneapolis-St. Paul, upstate South Carolina and the West Coast. However, we also hope to work with local businesses going forward."
Brame explained why he and his colleagues at Allegro Dynamics chose to become a part of the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette.
"After working remotely for several months, we pursued a single location to help with communication and give the team better focus," he said. "After meeting with officials from the Purdue Research Foundation and touring the building, we were thoroughly impressed with the facilities and everyone we spoke with. The business advice provided at the Kurz Purdue Technology Center will be invaluable. We also are thankful for the opportunity to work alongside a group of talented and innovative companies."
