Remarkable Night of Flight returns with exclusive VIP offer for residents of Sand Creek

What happens when Sand Creek Country Club partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana for Night of Flight powered by NIPSCO? Thousands of lives are changed.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana serves more than 10,000 children and teens in both Porter and Lake Counties. Through 10 Clubs and 11 before and after-school sites, the organization provides safe places for kids to learn and grow, offering fun, impactful programs for youth aged five to 18.

To help fund these life-changing services, Night of Flight, last year’s premier social event of the season returns bigger and better than before. Residents of Sand Creek are invited to enjoy a unique VIP experience with transportation to the venue in a Chicago Helicopter Experience helicopter with a limo return home at the end of the evening. The private helicopter will whisk guests away on a 10 minute helicopter ride to the venue, the B. Coleman Aviation hangar located inside the Gary International Airport.

General admission tickets are also still available online or by calling 219-764-2582, event organizers expect to sell out again this year. Early Bird Pricing for Night of Flight ends Wed, August 8th! Cost is $350 for 2 tickets, or $1000 for 6 tickets.

“Last year people showed up at the door on the day of the event expecting to be able to purchase tickets, and we had to turn most away,” explained Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana’s VP, Mission Advancement, Buffy Adams. “This is an event like none other, so don’t wait, reserve your tickets today.”  She adds, “Afraid of heights? No worries, many guests don’t fly at all!”

A lively evening of luxury cars, open bar(s), heavy hors d’oeuvres from around the world, live dueling piano music, tours of private jets and a live auction awaits guests.

The Name Says it All … Night of Flight’s Helicopter Rides Offer Main Attraction

Helicopter flights over Northwest Indiana, with views of the Chicago skyline, guests were visibly awestruck as they entered the exquisite indoor/outdoor venue with music, drinks and dancing.

Hosting the event out of its Gary, IN hangar, B. Coleman Aviation President, John Girzadas helped Boys & Girls Clubs take the gala to the next level.

“We have hosted many remarkable events at our B.Coleman Aviation hangar, explained Girzadas. “But there was something magical happening at Night of Flight last year.  Maybe it was the special lighting, the free-flowing cocktails, or maybe the live music and laughter that filled the hanger. Maybe it was all of that plus the fact that 300+ guests at Night of Flight knew they were impacting the lives of children in an important way. Either way, we are thrilled to be hosting Night of Flight again this year on September 5, 2019.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana Board Member, Brian Tegt spoke with the organization’s president and CEO, Ryan Smiley and both agreed that while last year was incredible, a VIP experience for residents of Sand Creek, many of whom attended last year, will take the event to the next level.

“As membership in our Clubs continues to grow, we knew we had to bring new awareness and interest to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana movement,” explains Tegt, owner of Awards Network. “A typical gala or fundraiser would simply not suffice, because such events are plentiful in this region. We had to do something different, exciting and unexpected.”Smiley believes they certainly met the goal of creating a novel experience for event attendees.
