On Tuesday, August 30, at 6:30pm, Faith Memorial Lutheran Church in Liberty Township will host a “Meet Our New Neighbors” event. Jonathan Nalli, CEO at Porter Hospital, will present an update to the community about the new Porter facility which will be located about one mile from the church.
Commenting on the event, Rev. John Albers, Pastor of Faith Memorial congregation, indicates that he hopes the event on August 30 will “bring together our neighbors in Liberty Township to hear more about our newest neighbor who, in a matter of months, will be taking up residence just down the road”.
Since it’s been about one year since Porter Hospital broke ground for the new facility, Rev. John Albers, Pastor of Faith Memorial congregation, expects that the event will “provide our neighbors in Liberty Township, and any others who are interested, an opportunity to learn more about the new hospital and have some time for a bit of Q & A with the hospital CEO”.
The presentation, which is open to the public, will start at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30th at Faith Memorial Lutheran Church, 753 North Calumet Avenue (just 1/2 mile south of Highway 6 - at the corner of 750 North). An opportunity to socialize will follow the presentation and light refreshments will be served. The event is open to the public. The church building is accessible to those with disabilities.
