Gardeners, homeowners and landscapers have the chance to tour northwest Indiana’s top home and public gardens at the annual Garden Walk 2014, hosted by the Porter County Master Gardeners Association.
The tour will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Porter County. This year’s tour will showcase eight home gardens and two public gardens. The Master Gardeners will be on-hand to answer questions and explain the plantings at each garden. Door prizes will also be given at every garden.
The cost to attend is $6 before June 28. Tickets are available beginning June 14 at these locations:

Attendees may also purchase tickets the day of the walk. The cost is $8 and will begin the walk between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at either the Westchester Township Historical Museum, 700 W. Porter Ave., Chesterton or Fit City Community Garden, 3210 N. Campbell St., Valparaiso.
