The Portage Youth Commission is looking for new members to replace departing seniors. Any students living in the City of Portage who will be in grades 9-12 this fall are encouraged to apply.
Liaison positions are also available for students living in South Haven and Ogden Dunes. Applications are available online at www.ci.portage.in.us, in the Portage High School main office, at the Mayor’s office at City Hall, or by clicking here. Applications should be returned to the mayor’s office by Thursday, June 3, 2010.
The Youth Commission is a fifteen member board that gives youth an opportunity to have a voice in local government regarding the needs and interests of youth in our community.
