Registration is now open for the 2015-2016 school year for our Preschool Academy at Portage Township YMCA. Find out more information about our curriculum, fees and staff at www.ymcaofportage.org.

Openings in Child Care Development Center
Working families who need quality, responsible, dependable child care for your child age 2 (potty trained) to preschool age. Children follow a curriculum and playtime to prepare for kindergarten by developing positive values alongside learning the ABCs and 123s.

Summer Day Camp
No Bummer Summer is the camp where your kids meet friends, stay active, create and explore their world on terrific field trips! Part time or full time, one week or as many as you like! Registration is now open. Sign up before Sat. Apr. 25, Healthy Kids Day, and be entered in a drawing for a FREE week of camp (a $110 value!).

Summer Mini Camp
Mini camps are for young children ages 3-4. Themes this year are: People Around Our Neighborhood (June 15-26), Bookworms (July 13-24), and Kindergarten Review (Aug. 3-7). Registration opens on Healthy Kids Day, Apr. 25, 3-5pm.

Healthy Kids Day
Saturday, April 25, 3-5pm is Healthy Kids Day at the Portage Y. Free for members and community residents will be games, activities, entertainment and information and more for your family. Find out details on our website www.ymcaofportage.org.

Family Meal
Family time for members and community on Sunday, Apr. 19, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Register in advance at our Welcome Center.

Movie Night at the Y
FREE! Y members and community residents are invited to attend this viewing of Annie (2014 version) at 6:30-9:30 p.m., on Fri., Apr. 24 at the YMCA, 3100 Willowcreek Rd.

Registration for Spring II Programs
The next session registration is open through Apr. 12. Community rates available.

Aquatics Swim Lessons
Special pricing for the upcoming four-week classes. Adults and youth can learn to swim before summer! Any swim skill level welcome!

Gymnastics
Children 18 months through middle school gain skills and confidence in the Y Gymnastics Program. Register anytime!

Open Sports
Learn to play racquetball on Friday, Apr. 24, 5-7pm in our Open Racquetball program. All ages are welcome, a great family sport with some instruction for game play and safety. Open Dodgeball, for ages 10 and up is on Mondays, 6:30-8pm. Play Open Volleyball ages 14+ on Thursdays, 7-9:30pm. Open Basketball is available for ages 14+on Fridays, 8-9:45pm.

Adult Sports
Men’s “A” League Basketball begins in April. League plays on Sunday 12-6pm. Co-ed Volleyball is a great way to play with friends and stay active. League begins Apr. 21 and meets on Tues. 7-10pm. Aquacise is water fitness in the pool. Join the Aquacise group for this special four-week session. Group meets Mon./Wed., or Tues./Thurs. 6:15-7pm.

Daughters of Ruth Support Group
Support group meets at the Y. This non-denominational group meets weekly on Thursday at 5:30pm. The intent is to uplift and encourage women and share their experience with others for friendship and support. Childcare provided. Call 762-9622 for more information.

St. Mary Medical Center Healthcare Partner with the Y

Flashback 5k
Save the date for our first 5K this year on May 15th! The fun run theme supports optional attire from proms of the past! A dance will follow in the Y gym. More on our website www.ymcaofportage.org.
